B20 more power
Re: B20 more power
I'm also trying to go n/a b20b and I dont have a limit for money, what do you suggest? I got plans for throttle body, intake manifold, cai, headers, vtec, fuel rail/injectors. Is there anything i'm missing.
Re: B20 more power
You need to do more research.
You don’t just add VTEC. You need an entirely new cylinder head, ECU, wiring harness and oil pump for starters. Golden Eagle makes a good LS/VTEC conversion kit.
For maximum power, you’ll want high compression pistons, better connecting rods and bigger cams.
If you get a higher flowing injector and fuel rail, you’ll want a better fuel pump.
Might as well do the rest of the exhaust while you’re at it.
When that’s all done, you get it tuned.
With all that done, you’re looking maybe 240whp for $4000-ish. Not slow by any means, but I certainly wouldn’t call it flying.
Or, for about half that, you could have a boosted B20 making 250whp in its sleep.
