New Intake and IACV

So I recently installed my new Skunk2 catback on my Civic, this required me to buy a new header so that everything would mount up correctly. Since my Civic has the Y7 engine that means it has the catalytic converter is on the header, unfortunately I was unable to get the old O2 sensors off so I decided I'm not going to run O2 sensors. It shouldn't be a problem as far as state inspection goes as Maine does not have smog or emissions testing. I figured my next step would be to buy a chipped P28 so I could essentially "delete" my O2 sensors and get rid of the CEL code that is coming up and causing my engine to run rich. I messaged a company specializing in selling and tuning Honda ECUs and they said I can definitely use a P28 on my Y7 motor, however I'll need to swap out the IACV from a three wire to two wire. They said I'd have to swap out the intake manifold to do this (I was planning on doing this anyway).

I've seen plenty of guides on how to swap out the different wire setups but I feel like since I'm already going to install a Skunk2 IM and TB why bother? Would I need to buy a IACV that's specific to the Y8 engine? And if so how would I know it goes to a Y8? So far what I've seen online is they both look the same. Is there something I'm missing?

Re: New Intake and IACV

Running the factory O2s is way easier and probably cheaper.

-spray O2s in penetrating oil
-use an O2 tool to remove them

...if the sensors are damaged, but new ones (make sure they are from Honda, or direct from denso).
