Injen is a true CAI it draws the air from outside the engine bay by relocating the filter end in the front bumper under your right head light. I have it and it rocks from 3500rpm on.

"We pay particular attention to temperature testing on V2 systems with short intake runner configurations. In cases where a heat shield is necessary for keeping inlet air temps under control, AEM will provide a stainless steel, laser-cut heat shield with the system. You can find a link to our temperature testing procedures right next to the link for our dyno testing procedures on the application search page for our air induction systems. We also provide a link to our temperature testing results right next to our dyno results for each application. We do this to assure you that our test results prove each short runner system makes repeatable power under real world driving conditions." quote from AEMs website what do you think?

On their website they claim that the V2 intake cuts 1/4 mile time from 17.1 to 16.6 on a 95 Civic DX

No. I don't believe it for one minute. Not as the only mod on a 7th gen civic.

I love my aem v1, it sounds great all the way through the power band, and i actually gat a couple miles per gallon more( if i dont floor it all the time)( even when i do with all city driving i get 30 mpg).

but, i do actually wish i had gotten the injen, mainly because it relocates it out of the engine bay.

but i am satisfied with the aem- next up exaust to set off the whole sound field from my car.
