actually type r piping isnt any different than any other stock piping. tust me i kno b/c i have a ITR its has the same diameter as the 99-00 si piping and the metal is just as thick. i have 3" piping on mine that only because im turbo. its true meandrell bent, which you can get done at ne muffler shop

i'm pretty sure u put a clutch and flywheel in but just forgot to mention it....u didn't sleeve the motor and you're running at 16 psi, no problems? what type of tires do u use on the street/track? did u change the driveshafts, are u really putting all of the 455 whp to the ground or are u spinning throughout first and second (or just slicks)? what do u launch at?

what do u launch at the track? did u up the redline and do u just run on the nitto's or do u have a pair of slicks for the track?

if you're not using slicks i imagine the nitto's are holding u back from getting higher e.t.'s and trap speeds; do u spin pretty much all the way thru 1st and 2nd?

id image that slick would give me better et's but i dunt have that kinda of money to be buying a pair of slick. plus i dunt want to get another pair of rims either just for racing...pain in the butt! i usually stae @ 32-3500 rpm i can safley take my car up to 9600 but i usually shift at 9000. spin mostly through out the whole power band of first. i lose some traction in second and also third at times. when i was running falkens i griped the track alot better. in my opinion falkens are alot better than nittos...nittos are highly overrated ppl only pay for the name. i like falkens better b/c the compound is alot softer there 4 i have better traction. who ever lives in san diego they can wither c me at carlsbad race track. and im racin at qualcomm stadium for the 1/8 on the 28th
