This one isn't clutchless...it says you still have to engage the clutch.
It would be damn cool to have, though!
Slick: it serves the same purpose as a manual stickshift, except rather than having to shift sideways and whatnot, all you have to do is give it a punch away from you, or pull it towards you, to shift. you can't miss a shift, and it is a lot shorter to shift...making speedier/more efficient shifts.
bottom line: gimme gimme gimme!

I was lookin around there site and I cant find a tele #. Does anyone know where I can order one of these. Im under the impression that it will work with me cuz of the k20 swap and since I saw they are making one for the dc5 (under the japanese site), Im hoping it will work with me.
ok, basically what this shifter was meant to do is be like the shifting essembly on a rally car or an indy race car. This is the basic procedure on how it works: you turn on the car, you have the clutch in, and then you bring the shifter out of neutral and you move it forward; you are now in 1st gear; so you are driving and you want to go to 2nd gear, you pop in the clutch and move the shifter forward; you are now in 2nd gear; you keep doing that if you want to up shift, but if you want to down shift, all you do is just move the shifter backwards. Then if you want to go into reverse, you have to hit this button on the side of the essembly and move the shifter backwards. Its designed to make shifts quicker and eliminating the possibility of mis-shifts.

Let me get this straight...
Upshift: Clutch, Pull, Clutch, Pull
Downshift: Clutch, Push, Clutch, Push
Not just a set of inline gears where you still have to engage gears one by one? This is like paddle shift, but you still have to use the lever?
Me likey!!! Me Want!!

yeah, i know its coming out for the dc5 and since im doing the k20 swap and im also guessing that i need a shifting essembly for a type s so im thinking why not. It will elminate any possibility of mis-shifts and its strong as a rock. I have seen and I almost broken off my shifting essembly and this thing is meant to take punishment.

i wonder how it works because b-series integras/civics have rod-type trannies and our civics/new dc5 etc have cable-type trannies
They show you how it works on their site, Sequential Shifter

expect it to be way out there expensive! Go to the website and look at the prices for some of the shifters for other models (nissans, silvas, etc) you may notice the prices are in jap yen, to put it in light 150,000 yen, the cost of one of these is about $1200.00 american, that is before the shipping/distribution costs that are sure to be added on prior to being sold in america
