new to forum, first time buying 2001 si
Hi,
I am new to this forum. Typically, I am a rotorhead(rx7), but I am buying a 2001 Si at a good price. I was hoping to get some motor specs/advice from the forum.
I think I am going to have to put a new head gasket in this car,maybe even replace the head(hopefully not). Assuming the head and block are okay I am thinking about ordering a head gasket set from Honda.
I have no civic buddies so I thought to join the community. What type of engine is in the 2001 Si? Is there a better source than Honda to purchase the gasket and bolts from? Thank you for any help.
