You could still add a cat-back exhaust, unorthodox ultra ss pullies, and some light-weight rims. Then, you could go with the gude package and have your ecu reprogrammed by jet.

Hey, how much time it took to get to 135mph?
I have no engine modification yet and I can go to 130mph easily ( after it's damn long to go faster.. only did 140mph one time but wasn't on a flat road.
( I have a EX too)

I bought a CAI last week but haven't had time to try top speed yet. I hope it will add more speed.

Maybe you want to change your gearing or do some serious mods to your engine. The stock engine just won't pulll the weight and buck the wind at those speeds.

at 130mph you're running out of engine speed, i believe we can theoretically hit 140 b4 bouncing off the rev limiter

i'd ask why you want to drive like than on regular roads, but im tired of asking that question

look into the GUDE performance package, i believe its somewhere in this forum (p&p's)

Pepito: Start out with a cat back... then if you want to go the simple way, get some nitrous. Anything you need, just email me... dynamicauto11@hotmail.com

ok in my opinion top speed isn't as important as how fast you get there right, so other then nos and turbos, what bolt on's help the most and are worth the money, that could be saved to just buy a new motor or turbo??

For those non believers, I know pepito and his car does top at that speed.
Pepito I suggest a cat-back with a high flow cat converter, that sould get rid of the ULEV and give you good HP. But if you want to be on the edge get nitrous.

Hrm. . Ouch. . Getting brutal. . 1) NOS is still a brand name. . 2) I didn't feel like typing out Nitrous Oxide. Cause I was being lazy .. and 3) Been here since July. . So that would make you newer than me. So ..

Wait a minute. Do you have aftermarket tires and/or wheels? What size?

Then if you haen't recalibrated your speedometer, it's off on the high side by 7.88%. According to the tire calculator the stock tire 185X65X15 is turning 824 revolutions per mile. The 185X50X15 tire will be turning 889 revolutions per mile. If you ratio that, then 135 mph indicated on the 50 series tires would be corrected to an actual 125 mph. Now then, that sounds reasonable as most of us have seen an indicated 125 MPH top end on stock tires with no mods.

So, unless you have recalibrated the speedo, your top speed is closer to 125 mph and not 135. Does that sound reasonable to you?

Another way to check that is to get your freindly cop to time you with a calibrated radar gun.
