OBX headers?

I'm going to be getting an AEM SR intake and Magnaflow cat-back exhaust soon should i also get headers? If so, does anybody know anything about the OBX Racing Headers and if they are good or even legal (i don't know anything about the laws when it comes to noises/emissions/etc).

If you're in california than no they are not legal. Their header is good but are not necessary. It will help flow a bit but you won't feel a large amount of gains. If you have an LX/DX you will lose your catalytic converter.

any type of header you get you will lose your cat because it is on the stock header. You would have to do an EX exhaust conversion, buy the headers and downpipe with cat and then get your catback redone to fit the new exhuast. If you want to go that route I have an EX cat/downpipe for sale. PM me

Yeah 2002 LX sedan but i think i'll just stick with the stock headers because from what i hear it's not really worth it from the minimal gains that i would be getting.

ohsnapsjay08 will become famous soon enough
yep, you won't gain much... you will actually lose Gas Mileage also and, when you install this LX oBX header, your CEL will come on no matter what , unless you have this so called CEL Eliminator AND, your exhuast is gonna be 5x louder than it should be.. i had this setup and trust me, its not worth it. when i got my exhaust, i end up selling my Header. so basically, its like 4 cons vs 1 pro (which you dont even gain much from it... prolly 3whp) (DONT BUY IT, just get a tint or something).

Hey guys, I have the OBX header and I love it. But I also have their downpipe and high flow cat with a full cat back, and I noticed and big difference with the whole set up. It is a little loud, but that is how I like it. I think it is worth it if you do the whole set-up and not just the header. Like the others said, some states it is illegal, but thank god for Florida and their no inspecting!!!

hmm...i got a EX with AEm intake, megan racing header, and full exhaust and i felt hardly any gain. i feel a SLIGHT pull on top end but its not a big deal. so i have no clue what you are talking about amazecustom.

travis, if you want to make your car fast then the ONLY route you can go is getting a turbo kit or engine swap. bolt ons wont do jack **** for you. especially on an LX. you will only gain about 5 hp from all that and you spent about a grand or a little more.
