Headers!!!!

Hey whats going on everyone?? I would like to know which headers are recommended for best performance? I know of DC Sports, but are the ceramic headers the best way to go? I found these DC Sports ceremic headers for $125 so I want to know if I'm going to make the right decision in buying them. Thanks

it wont give you much gain. but the dc-s is prolly the best deal. and we only have one header, not headers

So basically theres no point in getting a header for the D17 then? I'm purchasing a Tanabe Racing exhaust soon, so I wanted to know if there would be better output with the addition of a header, but would that make any sense then?

DC Sports header is engine candy. Look at an HP Racing header/cat combo. Eddie at truehonda claims 14 whp with that and an exhaust. If true, not bad for the $.

They must mean if you had 7 civics and put the headers on all of them you would gain 14hp

yea i have an intake too, and like i said earliar, im on the verge of buying the Tanabe exhaust, but no im not looking for the sound, just quality i guess...but when you say that the d17 doesnt like bolt ons, you mean that the header doesnt fit properly on the d17?

no it fits fine, just bolt ons dont give the d17 much gains if any. im suprised you havent gotten a kswap/boost reply yet, cause thats the best bang for buck with out car. even though a kswap is like 7k lol

if you want headers just get em for the look...i had the DC sports ceramic and they are no bigger than my stock ones and they were a waste of my money...so buy the cheapest ones if you want the look

The piping on my megan header are much bigger than the stock header something you might want to consider. I've never seen the DC header in person though. Fitment was perfect also just a lil pain getting the spring bolts back on but nothing major. 30 min job tops with a buddy.

Go with something cheap like the Hedman headers. Almost identical to the DC Sports, still a shorty 4-1, and maybe a RT high flow pipe. This with your Tanabe SRM will be loud though.

ive come to the conclusion that I'm just looking to buy a header not for hp anymore, being that there isnt much I can gain from it anyway, but just to make my car breath better, thanks from the helpful advice of ronaldo9 and my brother respectively...thanks for all the help, but dezod, your saying that im better off getting a cheaper version of the DC, but will it last me is the next question?

The headers side by side, are almost identical. I kid you not. Only reason why I say that to you. If you want to spend more $$ and make more comission for me on a DC header, cool then. Lookin to help you out man.
