Tanabe Racing Medallion Catback???
Tanabe Racing Medallion Catback???
I would like to know, my fellow 7th generation Civic enthusiasts what your opnions are on the Tanabe Racing Medallion Catback exhaust. I am thinking of purchasing one, for $690. Is that a reasonable price? If anyone knows a better price somewhere else, can you please let me know. Thanks. If any of you recommend other catbacks, please do tell...Thanks alot.
Magnaflow is the way to go. Good accurate fit for the catback system. Nice clean sound with out the rice sound you typically hear from 3 blocks away. Typically around $300 to $400. I think you can purchase directly from Magnaflows web page.

I don't know man that's a lot of money for an exhaust when you can get products like that that are just as good quality for way cheaper. I have the megan catback and they run about 350 or less and i Love it That however might not be your taste. Just search around I'm sure you will be paying way less for other name brand stuff like a Greddy Evo or something of that nature. But if you can afford it go ahead man but seriously thats a third of a price of a turbo kit when you're only getting about 3-5 hp max.

I have the Tanabe Racing Medallion Catback and love it to death, i'll soon be getting rid of it to run Buddy Club 2 Race Header and exhaust, but you may ask, do they make that for the D17, NOPE! its for the K24a1 + a2 swap!!
But hey, how much can u get da Tanabe Racing Medallion for? Cuz i know where I inquired for da price, its too much...I was also considering da HKS Hi Power exhaust, but dey only come in da rear section so I would have to get custom piping..Am i better off wit da Tanabe catback?
I got mine for $475 two years ago. I saw it for $300 before, both with the LX adapter included ($100). Unless you're talking about the Ultra Medallion, I would never pay that much for an exhaust.
People and their Exhausts....... Pshhhhhhhh its a good sound bla bla bla..... I have a Greddy Evo 2...... I hate that my car is loud at all..... but its not about the sound...... its about getting a free flowing system....... Axel backs F'in n00bs
i looked on ebay, and i still cant find the Tanabe for a much better price, am i just unlucky???? but again, if anyone finds or knows someone who can get it for a really good price, then let me know as soon as you can!! Thanks alot....btw, im talking about the Tanabe Racing Medallion catback

Well, I had that particular exhaust and it was quite loud IMHO, but to each their own.
