Black rubber sensor hole for intakes

What if your intake didnt come with that black rubber thing where you plug ur sensor in? like for my intake its just has a small metal tube, will that be alright?

the small tube is for the pcv (nipple on the valve cover).

if you dont have a place to hook the IAT into, take the stock rubber grommet from your stock air box, drill a hole (thats slightly smaller than the grommet) into the intake, and install the sensor

Just say no to jigg rigging. U do need it so go buy one and then put your intake on. BTW what kind of intake is it?

cheap ebay one, do I have to drill and stuff? or can i just plug the sensor right into the hole?

put your stock grommett into the hole then install the sensor
