Good or Bad?
Is this Bomz CAI a pos? or is the tubing good and all it will need is a good ol' k&n filter on it?
im really considering buying it if it would do the same as one of them 200-300 dollar ones...

The best cai you can get for our cars is a custom one. I have the aem and it's right next to my headers practically. Just get your own piping or whatever and try and make it go to the fender wells or go way down to the bottom of the bumper something like that. AEM is not a good one, Im not sure about Injen but thats the other popular one everyone uses.

the best intake besides a forced induction is stock, best low-end to high-end ratio, cold air, just makes it sounds cool and kills your lowend.

I bet you could do a custom one for under $100 but otherwise under $100 will be hard to find if you want quality. If you get the piping (whatever size) probley be at most $20 have it bent at an exhaust shop probley $10 at the most. Then the filter and clamps if you cut the tubing up probley $50 depending on what filter you want. Thats my guess, when I get my turbo kit Im gonna have a custom exhaust made. I calculated out a while ago that for a fully CUSTOM EXHAUST SYSTEM (think how long our exhaust is LX at least) probley be around $150 at most. It would be hella cheap to make intake if you know what your doing, but thats just my opinion.

How would that be? Actually to tell you the truth it will be the same as making any intake that is ever made. The only better thing about it is that you can bend it and control it to where you want the filter to be. Unlike the ebay, AEM, probley injen where they are next to the heat. If you look at your engine bay and figure whatever the best way is to can bend it and make it go to where ever you think it would get the coldest air. I guarentee that the ebay would probley be just like the AEM one that I have or in an even dumber hotter place. If your looking to get performance I definetly would be trusting no ebay of brand product.

ya lol i kinda agree with that... my friend and i took my whole intake off... to the filter and took the filter out and put an extra tube there from one of his old intakes and ran it... and it sounded beefy as hell... didnt really feel much more difference... but it sounded bad...

well i met up with some 7thgenners and one had a DC SRI and the other was a V2. i asked them and they said they felt something. and the girls both had auto's. im gettin gearbox's K&N SRI in a few weeks. i will install it and tell you if i "feel" a difference or if i can really tell if it did something different. i personally don't like the stock air box cause its huge and useless. if i put the SRI in, it will free up alot of space under my hood.
