Thinking about buying DC's race header
ive been looking into it recently. dezod sells them for $380 and the only better deal ive seen so far is off ebay. is it worth the cash? i saw were super street said it was a pretty good setup. will i need to buy an o2 sim or something like that? if so were do it get it. im just hoping it's not going to be really loud. im assuming its going to mount up to my apexi gt spec as well.
yes ive searched.

-it'll mount up to your exhaust just fine (as long as it's an EX exhaust)
-imo, there will be more gains than any other production d17 header/cat setup
-money will be worth it. if I still had a d17, I would've gotten one
-your car WILL be a lot louder (due to no cat ... not even a resonator)
-you will need an o2 simulator if you don't want a CEL (the p0420 cel will not affect performance though)
if you want an easy, plug n play o2 simulator, goto www.casperselectronics.com ... rather pricey though. other o2 simulators will be much, much cheaper ... but usually have some splicing involved (if you're ok with that)
someone was selling their dcrh in the for sale forums a while ago ... around 250 shipped and he had only used it for a couple weeks ... fyi.

I'm not sure about any other o2 simulators ... you can get them off ebay I think. I had one from bigjoshracing when I had my kamikaze header a long time ago ... but that one ended up going bad after a few months. =\

heh
well basically, one side of the o2 sensor screws into the cat. the other side of it is a connector that plugs into another connector.
the casper's o2 simulator is a tiny little box thing, about the size of a short thumb that has two connectors coming out ... basically you just take the o2 sensor connector ... connect it to one of the casper's connector ... and do the same for the other side.
once you jack up the car, it should literally take about 10 seconds.

If you want to spend less. The HP racing header puts down about the same or a bit more power (due to it being a cat and header) and is $280 from us. Its not always direct bolton, but you do save $100.

its a 4-2-1. its gotten good reviews by super street and modified mag as well. 10hp gain? we'll see. should sound amazing as well. guess my car is going to be loud as hell again.
