No cat is included so no, more than likely you will not pass a smog test.

LX and EX models have sensors in different locations so you will need to shorten / lengthen wires.

If I remember correctly, one trim has 2 sensors while the other has 3...either way I tihnk you'll also have to spend money on O2 sims so you don't throw a CEL.

i have the cat-back...it seems to be very good quality but does tend to rattle sometimes. Also i believe it could be cheaper to buy that complete exhaust piece by piece instead of that package. My cat-back ended up being 280 shipped off ebay i believe

Why would you need the front sway for an exhaust?

ans I had a complete 2.5 inch exhaust built for my LX and it cost me 200$can for a 4-1 header, high flow cat, resonator, and all piping.

Had to lengthin one of the o2 sensors because it was originally high up on the stock cat.

and you do not need any sway bar or anything to have the EX exhaust put on.

you don't need any sway bar for any exhaust. That just doesn't make sense.

I had to modify the ex exhaust to fit on my lx. the cat hit the swaybar. I had to have a custom downpipe made to put the cat behind the swaybar.

My only mod right now is a DC sports 4-1 shorty header, but that will change as soon enough

you are right, but not for 7thgen... (note: this is from what I read, not from personnal experience...)

The front sway bar is different on the EX compared to the the DX/LX one.

On the DX/LX the Cat is with the Exhaust manifold, in front of the engine. So underneath the front wheel of the car the exhaust is just a straight pipe.

On the EX, the CAT is under the engine, near the sway bar location, so the sway bar has a different configuration to clear it.

So people with a DX/LX doing a EX exhaust swap will need a new sway bar. But for an aftermarket exhaust, I have no clue if you need it or not!

That's also the reason why you can install a RSX front sway bar on a DX/LX and not on a EX... CAT clearance!

Why Honda did not install the EX sway bar on all trim... I have no clue!
