ebay type r lip kits?
ok im thinking of getting a lip kit for my ride now. I saw it on ebay and those type r kits seems cheesy but half the price of oem. Has anyone installed these in their rides yet? can u show some pictures if u have? thanks
i have a type R rear. I wanted a type R front but i got a Mugen replica instead. The mugen and type R are the same maker. The fit was flawless and install was easy on my front/rear. Veloz get expensive, my veloz sideskirts were as much as my front/rear together.
Here's my input, I have the Ferio RS lip kit replica from ABS Dynamics. My front lip, fits flush and snug. The sideskirts on the other hand is an inch too short. You will either have to force it on and have it stick out a lil (not too bad), bang the inner lip in the rear wheel well, cut, extended, and mold the skirt back together, or cut the sideskirts rear part to match the OEM sides' rear.
Last time I had this much fun some furniture got broken!

Alex1, which side skirts? the ones with the 4 or so "vent" indents or the flat ones?
I just got the type-b kit and its on its way. i will comment on front, side, and rear lip fitment when I get them in next week probably. I want to get them ON and then over winter I will get them painted.
note: I AM NOT LEAVING THEM ON! I just want to mount them and trim/fit them so when I get them painted its 100% bolt on!

Anyone have a link to a place that I can get real JDM front lip, rear lip, and side skirts. Or at least a link to a good JDM style set (front, rear side lips) that I could put on my 4dr. After seeing the picuture below I just don't want to go the ebay route.
^ "The Fast and the Furious" lol!!! That's a nice civic. The front and the rear in my opinion is 95% up to par when compared with the actual JDM lips. The sideskirts are the only ones that you should try your hardest to find. I think for the actual fitment and extra mounting hardware those JDM sideskirts are worth the extra time and money.
