im trying to find out wich header is better 4-2-1 or 4-1-1? thank you.

4-2-1s are generally better. the exhaust gases flow together with less turbulance than the 4-1. 4-2-1s are also more expensive.

4-2-1 headers are way better. Most ppl would tell u to go wit the DC Sport header, i got the ceramic one.

Well, b4 i was introduced to my best friend, Mr. eBay, i payed full price for mine, about $400, but ive seen them on ebay for about $200. Theyre really good and really easy to install.

ahh thank you i was realy thinking of geting the dc sports header and cat back.
but i was also think of megans cat back?

No no, go wit the DC exhaust, theyre made for eachother, so y have different parts? Wat else r u lookin to do wit ur car?

All stainless is gonna do is turn all kinds of pretty colors when it heats up, ceramic wont, plus theyre a little cheaper. Go wit the DC also.

kamakazie is the best header for our cars performace wise. but since its all of a maybe 4hp gain just get a cheap stainless header and let it become pretty.

I got an HP Racing 4-1 header on mine. Not sure how well its working, i got it used. But for $40 im not complaining

well Ive read a thousand similar threads, and the general consensus is:

DC Sport = same as stock but prettier
HP = some gains but must cut engine mount on Ex
Kamikaze = some gains, no engine mount destruction, more expensive

Ceramic keeps heat in slightly better which means better air flow, but wont outlast stainless.

but oh yeah as for the question, i think 4-2-1 has better low end torque gains, and 4-1 has better high end power gains, all else being equal.

hmm....DC sport header sucks. the piping isnt that much bigger then stock piping. dont waste your money on it. get either kamikaze header, HP, or megan racing.
