New Exhaust system/piece

I have a 95 civic ex with a stock cat back exhaust and the center pipe between the cat and the muffler and its pipe rotted out and I need a new one. I have two options:

1. Get a new piece of pipe bent to fit with flanges wielded on. aprox. $90
2. Get a new cat back exhaust system.

I have an after market stainless header and am considering getting a whole new cat back system. I don’t want to spend $500 on one though. I also don’t want a muffler with a huge tip like 100mm or anything, I don’t like that look or the sound most produce. So anyone have any exhaust system suggestions? And if possible any way to hear what it sounds like? Or do you guys think I should just get a pipe bent to fit?

if your planning to get an aftermarket exhaust in the future, might as well do it now.

if not, pay the 90 for the custom pipe with install. if you dont like the look or even the sound, then definately stay away from aftermarket exhaust systems. however, there are exhaust systems that have a very low profile OEM look to it; rsr ex mag is one of them. but its in the $500+ range.

i say go with the new $90 pipe.
