I know its been asked before, ..or atleast i think it has,..but..will EX headers fit onto a Dx/Lx engine??

Yes... they will fit onto the engine. That answers your question. lol.

The 4-1 should fit all ex, lx, dx fine... 4-2-1 is where the problem I think.

What you heard is true... But with the cat placement... It makes it nealy imposible.

it will bolt up to the block and fit fine but the downpipe/cat on lx/dx is different you can get a full ex exhaust though and it will work, i have a a ex high flow cat forsale aswell

so if got the 4-2-1 headers, and a high-flow cat,..i could just have some place add custom piping from the headers-cat to my axle-back...correct?

think of it like this, the EX exhaust setup (header/downpipe-cat/exhaust) is different than the non-ex models (lx/dx/etc),

in order to fit an EX header fine is to also hook it up along with an downpipe/cat/exhaust thats meant for the EX.

got to keep in mind the o2 sensors are placed different as well..

^ Correct. You would need everything for a ex from the exhaust manifold to the exhaust system. Yes you can to the custom setup you said as well.

i still got a topspeed ex high flow cat/downpipe for sale for $50, its basically barnd new excellent conditon used for not more than 5000 miles or less

it will fit. by the way, our cars only have one header so its header. not headers.
