Ok - I want to get the Greddy EVO2 Exhaust for my 2002 Civic EX (Automatic).
My only concern is loudness. I know I can get other Cat-back exhaust that will be a lot quiter but I only like/want the Greedy EVO.
I did a lot of research and everyone here says it's not that loud. (There was a survey with 1 being quiter then stock and 5 being Loud as He@@) and everyone that had the Greddy Evo rated it a 2.5
I have a newborn and we usually will our other car (2005 4RUNNER Limited) but just in case I need to take the civic, I don't want anything that will be too loud. Does anybody have the Greddy Evo and if it loud at all on the freeway - I hate the bumble bee sound driving down the freeway.
Thanks,
Mike

its loud IMO. the tone is always deep all most rpms. but its no bumblebee on the highway for sure.
loud? yea right lol, not for a auto. it idles sooooo quietly. and its not that loud either. its juss a deep sound from the backround. a good exhaust. only drawback is...stock, if u floor it, at 3k rpm ur car starts to pull and i guess vtec engages but now, i gotta wait till 4k rpm for it to do the same thing but it pulls nicer top end.
Cool - thanks for the info. I gonna go ahead and get it. Anyone know where theres a good deal going on. Any Group Buy Specials?
Worst thing that could happen is that it's too loud and I can add a resonator to quit it down a notch or put the stock back on until the baby is a little older.
Later,
Mike

SEnd us a PM, save your money and get an RSR Exmag = best money spent hands down! call us at 877-408-4348 and ask for me, Eddie and we can talk about options

do you have a coupe or sedan, if sedan the rsr wont fit , thats what im guessing since you have a newborn, evo 2 there is one for the 4 dr
No I have a 2002 Civic EX 2-Door Coupe. It use to be my wifes car. I traded in my 98 Eclipse Spyder GST and got a 2005 4Runner Limited. Since I drive 32 miles one way to work and my wife drive 6 mile one way - I decided to take the civic since gas is so high and besides it gives me a reason to PIMP it up.
