Redline Power Chip - Does it work?

I was looking for a speed chip of some sort for my automatic 2004 civic lx, and i came across this and wondering if it's worth it.

even if it works for there cars we still have a d17 :0(

It's just a resistor that makes the ECU think the car is running leaner, so it compensates and adds more fuel.

can be made for around $.70 cents from parts at RadioShack... but if you're dumb enough to do this, then go big and spend the $30 on ebay...
