*Disclaimer: This review is only an opinion. I'm no expert so take my 2 cents with a grain of salt. Don't go out and buy this expecting what I said and then being dissapointed. There's NO dyno numbers to prove any gains just the usual butt dyno.*
Well in a week i went from having a FIPK installed, to stock airbox without the resonator, to iceman intake. The FIPK added throttle responsiveness throught most of the powerband (not much but enough for the butt dyno to feel). The higher RPMs you could feel that's where the FIPK made the most difference. The iceman at first was pretty similar to the FIPK at first but after some cruising on the highway the ECU seemed to adjust. From a stop the iceman seems to give some nice torque increase throughout the powerband. Just as czechcivic stated when he got his. The car seems to pull a lot harder. In the higher RPM range i'd say the Iceman and the FIPK are about the same. I'd say, just a guess, the Iceman adds about...
no dyno..... but definitely increases the torque by quite a bit compared to stock. Most of this torque is in the low-mid range but it also doesn't seem to die as you hit the higher RPMs. I'll add more to the review as i drive it for a bit. Any questions just ask. Oh and don't forget to pass some rep points for taking the time to take pics and reviewing the two intakes.
*EDIT: ok the Iceman obviously doesn't gain 7-8hp, i must be getting retarded.
It has a bigger torque gain then the FIPK so maybe that's where i came to my assumption. Anyways this don't mean **** without a dyno.

Oh and the only faults against the Iceman were relocating the fuse box and the valve hose is too short. The fuse box took a while to figure out where to put it. I have to go to the hardware store and get a new longer valve hose since the one supplied was about an inch and a half too short.

7-8hp?, you're driving around w. a D17 under the hood right, not a K20? I was under the impression that intakes for the D17 usually made roughly about half that much.

Honestly... there's no way you could gain 7-8hp from an intake. 3-4 is more reasonable.
Anyways, thanks for the pics and review! One thing you left out was sound... how is it? Is it louder then the FIPK or quieter?

i think that may be an overstatement...hell some even say 3-4 may be an overstatement, if you have confident hp numbers than you should've had confident torque numbers too id assume, butt dynos can me a lil misleading id think
but IMO i dont like the looks of it not very catching to the eye, but if it performs so much better maybe it would be worth it.....and yea how is the sound?

ok whatever guys it was a guess, it just pulls better then the FIPK. They claim (FIPK) 4.5max gain. I'm just saying the Iceman pulls a little better. Of course a dyno is the only way to know. Plus i was half a sleep when righting this **** up too. As for sound it seems louder then the FIPK and just as good. ALSO a big plus, the iceman has a 5 year warranty. Not sure what AEM or Injen have for warranties but 5 years seems pretty good.

but really what else can they give you to tie up the fusebox. not unless they make a custom braket (which would drive up cost) zip ties will have to do. not really a show car intake. instructions as a whole are so so. If i was a noob i'd be confused. FIPK's instructions are far more detailed.

took it out for another spin. yeah feels nicer then the FIPK. The only spot i think the FIPK is a little better is on the highway but not by much. Let's say you going 100KM/h in 5th and mash on the gas the FIPK picks up a little bit quicker.
