Last time I checked, our cars are pretty quick-reving, so within seconds I have more power and torque steer than I know what to do with.

Speculate all you want, I'm living it right now. I love the t3, I wouldnt have it any other way.

hunter ur right, it doesn't take that much to get our cars to 3 rmps with full throttle... plus who buys a turbo for daily driving conditions, people buy turbos to race, so who cares if it lags before 3 rmps. I would want a turbo that lags before 3 rmps, that way i could get BEAST gas milage whenever im not racing, and just driving around under 3 rmps, then the t3 will still be faster then the t25 or whatever turbo at high rmps!

yea, Dynamic Motorsports told me about this kit. They said for our cars the only thing this kit is good for is for the BOV and front mount...it'll only give us 50whp at most...plus you guys cant forget about gettin a new clutch with this kit, so add another 300 plus labor. Just save your 4,000g's and get a nitrous kit. or just like they said buy the turbo kit for the BOV sound

So if you buy this kit for $2700 how much is installation? And how long does it take? And what else do you need for an auto?

Paddle shifters would be bad fvcking ***.

i bought my turbo kit from tsi and i was doing the install with my boy and yestruday we came into some problems. the manifold doesnt fit right up. i had to shave the right corner of it, also the power steering line is in the way, and the freakin oil line oging into the turbo is in the worst location. the dam thing his the block. so i gave up cause i dont have the tool and everything to do custom work, so now its at a shop getting done. also i call the a-holes form where i got it to talk to a tech and he calls me back and i tell him my problem and he says he has a diagram of what im talking about and he would read it and call me back to let me know how to fix my problem, and im still waiting. so they can go F*** themselfs. but o well, ill be boosting in a couple dayz.

I have the t28bb kit.

On average, if you're gonna be having a shop that's familiar with turbo installation then it's around $500. For an auto tranny, I'd suggest upgrading the clutch, upgrading the torque convertor, and getting a tranny cooler. TSI makes a good tranny cooler for about $180

I've heard a T25bb is best for auto since it's fully spooled by 2.5k

I'm going for the T28bb, but i'm manual

There's plenty of autos on here running T3's problem free. Only person that comes to mind now is Gotti. T3>T25. I say a T25 or T25bb ran with a tranny cooler ($180ish at sportcompactonly.com) would be A-ok
