I have the DC TCS and it's really sweet!!! it has a nice, deep sound. Probably one of the best and quietest sounding exhausts for out cars. The only one that's quieter that i know of is the Apex'i.

yea I have the DC TCS, DC 4-1 header, and obx hi-flow cat, its pretty tight and sound alright. I think apexi might be better, less bents and better flow...

Gimme a break, on THESE cars with these kinds of power figures, the bends in the DC TCS system dont restrict it all too much...i mean yeah, maybe if you have a V6 or Bigger or are running a BIG turbo, yeah, then it would be restrictive, but when you get a whopping 5 total hp from a CAI,header, exhaust set up, i dont think how much the exhuast flows is your biggest problem
to answer your question, i had this exhaust on my 01 EX coupe. i loved it! Deep, mellow, fairly quiet, great build quality, great all around product. if it would fit my hatch, it would have been on the day i bought the hatch.....
i still have it laying around if youre interrested, but i think shipping $ to MO would be killer

its a quiet exhaust... i like it cuz the tip isnt too big and it looks pretty good i think. Kinda heavy though. Overall I think its a good exhaust. But if i could do everything over, i wouldnt get a header or exhaust. Waste of money unless you like the sound and the minimal gain.
it dosent matter how many bends or anything in the exhaust... what matters if it has mendral bends or not, if it does then it could be 400' long and not matter or be restrictive. but 1 bend in a crimped pipe... can screw you also remember hotter exhaust flows faster so everyone getting bigger headers... ur just letting your exhaust run cooler and backing up your engine
anyone need any parts??? contact me... im a wholesaler ....AIM : Ohsosikcivic

does tanabe make exhaust for VP/LX/DX/HX. Also does anyone have that tanabe extension pipe and what does it actually do to make the ex exhaust work, and also will it work with greddy evo2 for ex.

I know it is off subject for this thread but I see the greddy evo 2 was brought up and was wondering if anyone knew wether they made one for the lx or what one would need to do to make it work. Sorry I know it has prolly been mentioned but I am the only one who hates the search feature I guess I can never find what I am looking for with it.

how do they suck? if you have a problem, elaborate, that way people will know WHY. people will be able to trust your decision more...
anyway. if you just want loud and dont have an EX you can get a custom exhaust made at a local shop for about 100 bucks, including piping and an el Cheapo straight through "N1" style ricer muffler from Pep Boys.
also, for everyone asking about the VP/LX/DX/HX.....heres an idea contact one of out great vendors(i.e. Robear Racing, Dezod, etc.) and ask them what they have to offer you... they will be more than happy to im sure

I know of a few people using that extension. Seems to work well & should work for any EX exhaust on an LX/DX/VP.

well, if you would have cared to researched it, the exhaust was made like that for a reason
DC Sports wanted to design an exhaust that was fairly quiet, yet, at the same time, free flowing. In that aspect, they accomplised their goal.
I got Compliments from a lot of people about my TCS cat back.
Oh, and if its such a "crappy design" why did MUGEN make one very similar?
it just look more like a normal exhaust than the TCS.
and again if you would have reasearched the TCS like i did before i bought it, you would have know that it was a little off and that there was a chance it would "melt" your bumper. there is a well know, and EASY solution to that.... just heat up the hangers and adjust it to where you want it... its not that hard...
are you just disappointed cause you didnt get 50 Wheel HP from the cat back? well, if you didnt get 50 hp, its your fault, you didnt put on the supplied DC Sports decals!
just kidinganyway, it is in all fairness, a very good design. it sounds good(unless you like those loud, raspy, ricer exhausts)
i admit, it is a little pricey, but, there are few that are cheaper with similar or better quality
I've liked my DC Sports exhaust, never had any problems, and everyone commetns on mine a lot too..Not too loud not too soft, just perfect. And I'm actually selling mine right now..
But it does the job, ya know?
