How much should i pay for V2?
I've been looking around for the new aem V2 for my 04 Civic. I've been quoted 285.00 to 305.00. After reading the parts and reviews section some people pay 200.00-250.00. But where??
well, he should probably wait for dezod's then
if he can burn $250 on an intake, then I'm sure he can save up for a turbo ... you gain more whp from removing your power steering than any intake on the market

If your looking for power, don't bother with an intake. Intake is just good for sound, no matter what anybody says. Save up for a turbo like everyone else said (if that's what you want). If you got a lot of money to burn, I say go for the v2. It sounds freakin' amazing. Once you get to around 3000 rpms it goes nuts.
I got mine on monday, and I'm happy with it. I got the aem v2, cause I wanted something that sounded nice. I'm not into driving fast, so I don't care about hp gains.
I guess it depends on what your after. If you just want something that sounds nice, go for the v2. If you want hp gains, get a turbo.

They are good if you are in a high rain area, this way you know no water will be sucke dup.
Someone one here told me that the V2 is a cold air for the lx and under models, and a short ram for the ex?? Im thinking this isnt true though. I have it for my EX and it sounds great and adds enough power to feel the difference. I payed 255 altogether for it, which contrary to popular belief in this forum, is nowhere close to the price of a turbo...

Rob man.... you really did bring it back from the dead but with ppl constantly saying 'it's not worth it', it's not too good for your business or anyone elses.
