Electric Superchargers
its new technology or something, not those cheap ones on ebay, pricy and runs off of electric motors that produce a lot of power and work with superchargers. no pulley or alternator connection, they come with side batteries that recharge so when you kick the gas it gets power fromm them and lasts around 15 sec... good for 1/8 mile. it does run off you alternator but by wire and only recharges the batteries when you push it. it doesnt hurt electrical system.
that is retarded, $2000 for 3 6hp motors and a blower that last 15 seconds before a 20minute recharge, thats gonna do a awesome on the street!! hey civic buddy lets roll! ::tires burning:: hey come back , i gotta recharge my 24v battery array! anyways, electric motors are very inefficient, electric current produces heat and magnetic field, right, well it produces much more heat than magnetic field... so to produce a field strong enough to produce that boost level, your wasting most of that 24v battery bank due to I2R losses (heat lost in the resistance of wiring). thats why no one has a electric super charger, they're super in efficient! just my nuclear reactor trained .02 -- Jeremy
eram makes electric superchargers and they will give you only 3-6% increase in hp at wot. they can't produce the same thrust of an sc or turbo. if you really need that extra 3 or 4 hp - then go for it, but you may not even notice the difference.

He even tried to make an electric turbo!
Says it takes 1000 watts to make 1 PSI....and up to 275A for 3 PSI.....how ****in' nuts is that?
