Unorthodox Racing Pulleys

I just recieved an e-mail from Unorthodox racing, and they said the Ultra SS Street pulley kit would be out in a few months...
just thought I would share the knowldge. Hopefully, you didn't go and get the AEM Pulley kit, because those are accesory pulleys, and the Unortho-Racing kit comes with all of them. Later !!

No, not at all...the AEM Pulleys are great, but you only get two accessory pulleys...with this kit you get the crank shaft pulley, which is where you'll get most of your HP from the weight loss.

AEM Pulleys I think can give you 5-8 HP, and the Unorthodox Racing pulleys will get you anywhere from 8-15 HP and 6-10 lbs. ft of torque, and that's on a stock engine. You will get higher gains from a modified engine. ie: intake, headers, and exhaust.
But they are more expensive of coarse...but the set will run about $375 or so, while I think the AEM kits are $150-200.

Yeh, that's some cash, but they give good gains, so that's worth it.
My headers were 300, and these pulleys give better gains than the headers, I know that.

reality check...pullys on a stock civic ex will give you 1-2hp at the wheels on a good day...ask unorthodox...stop talking to wierd people who will also tell you that headers will give you 30hp an intake 15hp and an exhaust 20hp, but won't tell you that those #s come from a twin turbo rx7 running 15 pounds of boost....just trying to help....

hmm. I dont think those pulleys will give u the numbers u claimed there... at least, not to the wheel. 1-2 from the AEM pulleys sounds about right.. I duno about the unorthodox ones though. maybe a few more? 3-4? who knows. maybe u should just ask 'em, and see what kinda numbers they give ya.

its kinda funny, anyone ever emailed manufactures before asking how much of a gain in performance are we looking at? heh. I mean if they claim otherwise... and u dont get it, u can take 'em to court. heh. so maybe they'll tell the truth if u just ask. hmm. I wonder. heh.

It might give you 8-15 if you have a camaro or rustang, not a Civic. Dont believe that crap.
