I'm pritty sure ur gonna have to get ex headers and the cat on the lx and ex are in different places, so it could cause some problems.

I know Tanabe has an adapter for there medallion exhaust systems but i dont think greddy does. I have a dx and i wanted to get an ex exhaust but it was way to much money and trouble.

for the cost of upgrading ur car with an exhaust sytem u could instead just do an ex head swap

I believe its the MagnaFlow that your friend has.

You may use your friend's and take it to the muffler shop to have it welded.

That's a great idea and all but those two are not the same, they are co-related. Honestly, if someone swaps an EX head, do you really think that the owner wouldnt want to rid of the bottleneck? For somebody who thinks about modifying the exhaust system to rid of the bottleneck, header and exhaust is the obvious solution. EX head swap is one of the mods, but you cant have that as an alternative for an exhaust mod.

So you think your head swap is the same as exhaust mod? You said "instead" which means an "alternative" for the later. Not a valid argument. Maybe if you said get a head swap and a I/H/E I would have agreed with you. But to say "instead"

anyway.
