7th Gen DX/LX Parts

Where in the heck do you fellas find parts for you 2001-2004 Civic DX/LX models? Of course nearly every company has a cat-back system available, but I'm talking about intake manifolds, cams, headers, throttle bodies, etc. I bought a couple magazines the other day and went to the websites of some companies that advertised in them. To my surprise, I couldn't find jack for a 2000+ Civic other than the Si. In addition, if any year showed up above 2000 it was always for the EX model only. Furthermore, I searched on eBay and found parts that say they go with my car and have a part # from the manufacturer. Then I goto the manufacturer's website (I.E. OBX racing) and see that they DO NOT show that part # on their application chart. So I email the company and of course they haven't responded yet. Hopefully you fellas can point me in the right direction.

Thank you!

BTW, I noticed they don't sell headers for any model except the Si. Anyone know of any companies that have headers for the DX/LX?

The dx/lx has the cat on the exhuast manifold (header), while the ex has the cat on the down pipe.

www.robearracing.com
www.dezodmotorsports.com
www.streetlevelperformance.com
www.ebay.com
etc.

Those are the ones I could think of off the top of my head.

obx makes a header for the LX

Kamakazi makes a LX header but it would eliminate the cat.

Here is a link: http://www.mmrusa.com/kamcivic.htm

Get a ex header and a stock or aftermarket cat by random Technologies or have a shop make one. Then use is a simulater or use ex exhaust sensors for the exhaust.

Also DH Racing makes stuff for the D17 motor, bored throttle bodies and intake manifolds

Really? Because the application chart on their website doesn't show anything above the year 2000. Thanks for all the helpful information, btw. I might just try your idea about the EX header.
