ticking

i hear this ticking sound from the engine bay around the throttle body area. i just installed my Injen CAI and was wondering if it was from that or is the ticking a normal thing for our cars. i cant remember if the ticking was there when the stock intake was in. its a ticking, not a rattling. thanks for any help.

Your valves could need adjusting...Does it sound like it's coming directly from the engine? Like inside?

Mine has been ticking since I bought the car. It's been discussed, and the sound is normal. If you think that's loud, try to find a Jetta and listen to those.

thanks guys, thought there might have been something wrong with it. didnt want to take it to honda and have them check it out and say "whut the hell is that injen intake doing there!!!"
