why god...? why do these people have no taste for cars...? seriously you guys have the worst taste...wide bodykits? conversions? common now...whats the point? its just plain ugly...just throw on a lip/body kit and call it a day...that blue widebody kit is just plain ugly!

HMMM... looks kinda odd on 7th gen civic. why not buy a real IS300? A civic should look like a civic. But the red 6th gen civic that was converted actually is pretty tite looking.

I was thinking about doing just the little Circle lights molded into the trunk and keeping the stock tails. That would look dope I think.

for all those that are bashing talking about widebodies are fugly, and just get a is300. well if you look at it those who have done it are doing it for show purpose. Its their money quit bashing on it just cause you don't wanna do it. It really doesnt even look all that bad.

Worst taste?? Some could think totally the opposite. Some could think that just throwing on a lip kit and calling it a day is totally stupid and what everyone does. Some could think that a lip kit is not unique at all. Some could think that doing a conversion, doing widebody makes them different than everyone else with just a lip kit/body kit. What I'm trying to get at is...bottom line, everyone should do what THEY want to do. If they are in the show scene (seriously), they better have something that makes them stand out from the rest of the million civics out there. If you're just into making it look clean and simple, then a lip kit is cool. I'm just sick of people bashing on widebody kits, and conversions, and the more "crazy" type modifications. 1. You're entitled to your opinion, but so is everyone else.
2. "thrown on" Lip/body kits don't win shows. You may not care about the show circuit, I don't either, but a lot of people do.

I like the IS300 headlight conversion, it seems to flow well, but the tails don't do it for me. I agree with the Mercedes tail light conversion idea.

The taillight conversion is fugly imo but at the same time there are much worse conversions that are done. At least the is300 tails seem to somewhat look like the stock lights but at the same time are different, not like putting supra tails on a civic - now that would be fugly.

The is300 headlight conversion is badass, looks good imo but I wouldn't do it. It too looks somewhat stock as the lines seem to be very close to the 04 civic lights. People that didn't know the difference probably wouldn't even notice.

I'm not a fan of widebodies or tail-light conversions.... everyone is entitled to their opinion and to spend their money the way they choose...

Now if we could just find a way to drop the IS300 drivetrain in a vic; Thats something I'd be interested in.

I mean, making it look like another Honda model or something is ok, but why other brands?

I think it would be easier to put holes in a new trunk and put stoplights and get chrome tailights. That way the car's lines would still be in tact with out looking too weird.

Good point, I'd quite like to see a 7th gen with RSX headlights and prelude tails, I think that would look quite sweet; If done right, no widebody needed and the lines don't get jacked up at all.

Anyone know what a widebody kit adds to your cars weight?

i like that too... i just dont like the wing. As for the conversions... the IS300 is my next car i want... i wouldnt turn the civic into one, but it does look good, i think the IS300 headlight conversion looks better than the tail light conversion tho.
