Are these any good? I sometimes think I'm gonna break my engine mount or axle or both. I do drive hard sometimes... would this help my mounts survive longer?

you think your JDM wing is gonna break your motor mounts or axles? Please. some of us have driven harder during races and have no problems. Unless you are boosting or putting down some serious HP or worried about weight transfer while racing, you have no need for urethane motor mounts.
BTW There aren't any out for our engine. They have to be custom made or you can fill a set of OEM ones. Someone has done that on this site with a diy and pictures so search for it if you really think you need them.

ES and prothane should have bushings for the control arms and sway bars.

I was just messing with ya. Your car was built to handle most of the things you can throw at it. Your axle isn't going to break unless you hit something.

Yeah i read you have a DX with no mods. I drive on shitty roads here in baltimore, have raced in a few autox's and haven't had a problem. hmmm. It isn't like your DX has massive amounts of torque....

The front one going out twice could have happended when I was in the process of swapping my motor out. My friends claim it was already broken though.
I also drive an automatic if that makes a difference?

fly just likes to show off because he is getting a K20 from a type R so you don't need something like what he posted. If you are really worried then you can buy some OEMs and fill them with polyurethane.

the mount inserts are great. Only problem is that there is more vibration through out the car but lost the wheel hop completely. Motor doesn't move. And throttle responce it better.

I don't know about you but I've hit a few pot holes that have slightly hurt my back. I can't imagine what thats doing to an engine without a secondary impact buffer.

stock motor/trans mounts are intended to A. hold the engine and trans in place. and B. to dampen vibrations coming from the engine and keep them from being transmitted to the inside of the car.
When your suspension bottoms out the hit goes directly to the body..and your back. The engine and tranny are not affected by this.

DJMOTA is correct. I also have suffered from the front motor mount being shot. Thank god for extended warranty. Yes the urethane bushings are out for the engine/trans and you can use the bushing kit for the si for the rest of the vehicle. I would like to do it for my whip, but unfortunately I GOTS BILLS. The factory bushings are soft to keep cost down too. If you look at them they arent even complete, they are a rubber disk with a slab of rubber in between. Its nasty.
