SMX is on a distinguished road
Pay half the price and have a local muffler shop weld together a 2.25" pipe with Borla straight-through muffler. No bees in your can with that muffler (and more money in your pockets for other mods).

whatver you do dont go 2.5 piping ...terrible for the low end stick to 2.25... or if you want no low end loss with some high end gains stick stock or 2 piping with an axleback.... HKS

i have tanabe srm too, great exhaust, the only other exhaust i'd choose for my car is the rs*r or the invidia, i saw them on modacar.com and they look really realy nice and anyone who knows those brands know they are sure to be worth the money, but i know many people with the tanabe rm or the srm and are more than happy, fits great, looks great, sounds great (unless you want a quiet exhaust), and you can get it from wholehyper.com in their specials section for only $399 which is a great price, i paid like $600 for mine from a store and now i know you can get almost anything cheaper online, but tanabe rm or srm are used all the time in high hp cars and are great quality but then again most exhausts have about the same gains give or take a hp and everyone has their own likes so just go with whatever you think looks and sounds the best

i gotta magnaflow cat-back, it's nice but i think the power i'm getting is more from the kamikaze header than the cat-back. the best thing to do is go find that sound clip thread of the exhausts and see which one you like, because all the exhaust are gonna give you around the same hp gains, and please don't believe those morons who think a universal muffler gives you 15 hp.

Even though Magnaflow has some fitiment issues, I think it is a good catback setup for the money. But bolt-on gains will be minimal with our Civics.

cause if he ever wants to go turbo or do engine work and have a higher hp he'll have the right exhaust, also its a nice exhaust for no matter what hp u have, you can have stock and its still nice
