New ACT Clutch info
I just swapt out my clutch and flywheel with an ACT 270lb street clutch and 11lb flywheel. The whole process wasn't that bad. Here is the catch. Because the clutch is 100% stronger than stock it take all the length of the clutch pedel to disengauge. I bled all the air out of it and that is how it is. The clutch catches about a half an inch from on the floor. The only way I can think to change it so it disengauges earlier is to put thicker fluid in it. How it is right now is not bad because I usually push the clutch all the way to the floor to shift any way. But in traffic if you let it slip just a little bit it catches and you move. The engaugement is not that rough but you can feel a differance. Just thought you might want to know. Hope this helps somebody. Oh and I upgraded it for my turdo kit I will put on next weekend. Ran out of time last one.

I like the stiffness but it is how far you have to push the clutch down to get it to disengauge. Is yours like that as well. Oh and do you know how to adjust it.

I had two people and it took us from 1pm to 6pm sat and from 10am to 4pm sun. 10 hours total. Not too bad seeing as I have never done a FWD car befor and my Friend has never done one with the engine in the car.

The big problem is you can not get the tranny out of the car without removing the sub frame or pulling the engine. We just pushed to the side and worked around it. Not muck hand room though.
Thats why when I go and do my tranny swap im going to change my clutch as well i just need to find the perfect one to meet my power needs. Power will be 75 shot+ PnP Head. anyone have any suggestions?

My friend works at Honda as a tech and he helped me change my clutch (Clutchmaster FX300 and 7.8 lbs flywheel) and it took us about 8 hours. We did drop the subframe per Honda instructions. Not a fun install to do at your own house. Definitely have a tech do it for you to get it done right. By the way, I LOVE THE CLUTCHMASTERS CLUTCH!!!
