lol quite a few people on this site favour tanabe, including me, but i am not biased so the only way to know what sounds like what is to ask around on this site and maybe check out the exhaust sound clip
here
here
yea, check out the sound clips, they're pretty helpful. I think the Greddy evo exhaust sounds really good, and so does the TCS. I'm going with the HKS hi-power rear section. It sounds decent, and a lot of people say its great. Plus im getting a brand new one for only 175, thats almost half of retail, so I cant pass that up

. ^, its a local buy. I'll see if he can get more. If he can get more, It'll probably still be cheaper than retail, which is 306. I'll talk to him when I pick it up either Mon or Wed, and I'll let him know a lot of people want this rear section for a good price. I'll see what I can do for you guys

I had tanabe before and changed mine to a greddy carbon fiber muffler and love the low tone I get from it usually if they sound high pitched something is wrong from what I have seen
hahaha

You say that exhaust falls apart, thats funny.... This is coming from a guy who thinks that the DC TCS is the best exhaust out there, if only you knew. Thave have been more complaints about the dc tcs falling apart and having leaking problems than any other exhaust set up by far. You could get a custom muffler shop job w/ a universal muffler and have better luck than spending all your money on a piece like that... do NOT buy the dc tcs. The greddy is great, skunk2 also very good, and the new tanabe ultra that is coming out in a few months will be top of the line. Good luck

I'll try to get a clip of mine up.
I have the greddy evo and i love it...only thing is when it rains its a bit noisy lol. People who have the evo understand what i mean by noisy heheh...but its a great exhaust. I think its the best for sound and performance, IMO.

I have only heard one exhaust that sounded like crap on our cars, I have clue what it was because I saw him driving down the road. But the thing sounded like ***. Most people are gonna tell you get this, get that. Get whatever you want or whatever sound you like best. If you want a sound clip of my set up send me and pm. I have obx rear section from mufflertech.com with custom 2.25" piping from the cat with no resonator. I think it sounds awesome. But go with what you like best. The problem here is people ask what other people think they should get do what you want. If someone thinks it is ricey flip em the bird and drive off at least you like it.

the tsudos i thought were 2.5 inch piping
the reason i didn't buy the tsudo cat-back was because of that; i want a 2.25 inch, like the magnaflow. if the tsudo is 2.25, then i'd consider buying it

yeah, actually, i was seriously looking at that cat-back before i came to this thread, but i decided i'd stay at 2.25 inches or below. i don't really get to the high revs much anyway, so the loss in the low end wouldn't be worth it for me
