FVck what others have to say about it but I like the way my Ractive sounds. It's a nice deep tone and cost much less than a name brand cat back system. I am getting custom 2.25in piping in a week and I already know it will sound great. I've seen 3 installs by the guy that is doing it for me and 2 of them were 7thgens and they performed great and sounded awesome, not ricey. He did do one with 2.5in piping on a turbo'd EG hatch and it sounded alright, but should have had 2.75 piping for the amount of boost he was running.

Check out the RS-R Exmag exhaust as well. RS-R is originally an JDM company from what I've heard and I love mine. It's all ceramic coated, very stealth, best construction I've seen and just all around very tasty! They have an N1 style too if that floats your boat.
Here's a link to their site, they have great pics of the mufflers on cars, including ours. http://www.rs-r.com
