I dont know, ill have to weigh the parts when i make them and see. Switching from plastic to CF, it wont be a whole lot, but im sure it will save a little.

i like the idea of the a/b/c pillars. would definately get them. And the trunk is cheaper (i think) than i've seen.

Rear deck will be modified a little. Where the speakers grill is ...it will be straight and smooth instead of raised. That way you can mount some speakers in the deck.

How about a CF Battery Tie Down? I worked on it today, was my first try with the mold, not quite right, but close. VERY strong and lightweight. Stock tie down weighs 3.6 ounces...CF one weighs .4 ounces. And it looks good. Whatya think?

woohoo! Thats even more of a weight drop than the gas cover DIY!

Depending on the cost, a battery tiedown might be nice.

So are you going to do the radio/climate cotroal panel? the one right in the center of the dash? I'd pick one of those up NOW! Also, maybe you could mod it so there is no hole for the radio or pocket, just smooth so people could cut it to fit a screen maybe.

Also the little panell where the power plug is would be sweet

im not gonna do the radio/climate control panel. that is included in the CF dash kit. By the time i get a mold made and make it, you could pretty much buy an enitire dash kit for the price I would have to charge.

I just vacuum bagged the battery tie down, i think this one will turn out good. Always takes a few tries to get used to making a part. i think it will be a cool little engine dress up piece.

VIS and Fiber Images already makes a trunk. Thats why I didnt want to make it. Im small time right now..people would probably buy from them before they bought from me. I would have to sale atleast 6 trunks , just to get my money back for the mold. Thats not a chance Im willing to take right now, but if the rest of the parts sale well, and I can get some money in my pocket, the trunk is still a maybe.

I may not do the full Carbon Door panels.......but I think I figured out a way to do the CF door inserts, where the cloth is. Im gonna work on it next week.

door inserts would be foshizzle. I would definitely buy those. And what he was saying about the trunk is that the ones out there are WAAY over priced. If you sell yours at a reasonable price, you would have no problem selling 20!
