intake decision
Sorry to come back to this, but I'm still partial to the AEM V2. I have an LX and those dyno charts on the AEM site for the DX/LX are impressive. COuld be a marketing scam or whatever, but I'm wondering if anyone with a LX/DX has a V2 installed. Thanks.....

Did I use enough buzzwords for that to sound legit?
Who's the ironfist intake made by? Do they have a website? Anybody have one of these yet? Why would I get one over, say, OBX?
Did I use enough typical internet questions as a response?

lol.
Who's the ironfist intake made by?
IronFist Performance.
Do they have a website?
We do not have a commercial website right now as all of our money goes into development.

Well as you can tell from our legit dyno charts, this intake outperforms all others, including OBX. The dyno is real, btw.

No, you need to ask the ricer question:
"I don't care about performance, does this intake sound better than the rest?"
Stupid ricers

Okay, I'll post the first informative thing here. Stay away from metal intakes like Ingen and AEM. Most rob power in the low end and give some more high end. Not really worth it, unless you really like that sound it makes. I don't so my car is back to stock. The factory airbox performs surprisingly well. You're better off spending $50 on a K&N OEM filter that you can reuse.
From what I have heard, no, but I don't know from experience. That's the intake I'm going for, in addition to some other things

You know what, i still say the Volant cold air intake system is the best. The reason being that its just like stock with a similar air box so you wont loose the toruqe you would normally loose after installing an intake. And they made it better flowing. I wish someone could get one. I dont even know if they ever put them into production yet.
but if you think about it, what is "robbing"? If you think about it, you could say that the stock airbox is robbing you, as compared to the FIPK, of power on the high end, and a little bit on the lower end. It just depends on what you want out of the intake.
