There's one on eBay

Um, looks backwards on this next pic. Maybe they're going for that cowl induction thing.

Maybe if your hood actually had a hole in it this might work. I dunno.
But without an actual hole in the hood all it will do is increase drag a la Mustang style.

on the last one it just has to have a vent in the rear so that it doesnt suck the air in and have no where for the air to go or it would just fly off. i have seen some nice ones also, though. there is this one wrx by me that has a roof scoop and it looks awesome because he has it painted the color of his car and it is perfectly molded to his roof. it also has a rear vent for the air.

and if so why would you want a fake one? it looks tight but has absolutely no purpose right?
i mean a hood scoop can be functional so can vented sides or fenders.
oh and i attached this file for no reason at all

A scoop like this could actually work rather well on our cars believe it or not. We have a horizontal throttle body, so it would actually make sense to have a hood scoop. All you'd really need to do is cut a hole in the hood, mount a rectangular filter to the underside of the hood, build some kind of box and run some dryer hose and bolt it to the throttle body. It'd be just as good as a CAI. You guys should actually think about these things for half a second before you start calling "RICE!" and "UGLY!" and crap like that.

they wont fly away if you MOLD THEM to the hood. He had a good point. If someone were to do it right, and think it through, then a hood scoop on our cars would be very logical, since, as he said, he have a vertical throttle body. It's a straight shot up to the hood, and it actually makes more sense than bending a tube around for a conventional intake. Think about what people say for a second before you bash them.

whether its functional or not, its ugly. 1. its cheapy yo, 2. im assiming that this is urethane, actually abs plastic, i just checked. you go molding that to a car, which requires some fiberglassing, and bondoing, and its going to crack and blow off and look like shizzle. you don't mold urethane/abs, it looks like ish for one, and two it expands and lessens with heat/cold, which crack the molding. don't believe me, call a body shop tech, or master body work tech. they'll tell you the same thing. when molding you want a f.glass part to mold with because it doesn't expand like urethane/glass. so he is right, hit the highway and its going to blow off. might not the first time, but it will after repeated times, and different seasons. like you said, read and understand a person's post before you say something.
BTW, did i say that that thing is fugly yet?

I think I'm going to buy one and slap it on someones ride just to be a jerk. I'll throw it on my moms Focus, maybe my Grandpa's minivan. . Maybe I'll just put it on top of our trash can, so that when you wheel it out the curb it is aerodynamic and $hit.

here is another one !http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2449154008
those ones on ebay are purely for looks...so they are a ricy product...ebay said you can tape it...just like the fake hood pins.
I agree a real one will be helpful, the guy had reason...but a real one means the one on WRX or evolution or even SRT4, they came with the hood itslef and a lot of studies were done when designing them.
