Hey guys. I did it. I bought about 20 of them and installed all of them.
THe ones on the stereo worked AWESOME!!! I though my US AMPS 2000x was sweet before, but now holy jesus. I blew out all 4 windows at the same time! And flattened 2 of my tires with the new Brittney SPears CD. So much bass.
And as far as more HP. OMG right after i installed them i was driving down town to test them out, and lucky me i saw some punk in a cheap *** 97 Supra (lol what a junker) i dont know what he was talking about apexi twin turbo, 150 shot of nitrous, blah blah blah. I dunno what the hell he was talking bout, but i was like "Biotch, i gots me 20 HP chips so bring it foo" and he was like "aiiight" and i was like "aiiight" we at the next light we went for it. And DAMN i could tell i put the other 20 chips on, cuz he got me off the line at first, but i let it run out in fist till about 85mph. By the time i hit 2nd it was all over. bye bye supra.

PS I ROCK

PPS yes you fools i was joking in my first post...DUH lol

Just to keep this thread going I will put in my 2 cents.

When the ECU is tricked in to thinking colder air is coming in it puts out more fuel and advances the timing slightly, due to the fact that colder air has a higher oxygen density. So on a 330hp Camaro it might get a couple of extra horses. But on our 100hp civic, you will feel nothing. it is not worth the hassle. But if you realy want to try it look up IAT or AIT sensor mod on google. There are a couple of muscle car sights that swear by this mod. Even SLP which is a good shop sells there version of this.

Personaly I am temporarily using a resistor in place of the sensor, do to the fact that I am boosted and have no hole for the sensor on my charge pipe.

Go ahead and flame me if you want but it is better to have the computer putting out more fuel than reading hot engine air w/ the sensor just hanging out(what SF recomends).

PM me for pictures if you want to check it out.

Yeah I put one in and it sucks. waist of money. all it does is suck your gas. There is no gain whatsoever. Yeah I took it out and it feels like its running better. Im never doing that again. I'll stick with the bolt-ons for hp. word of advice: Dont get yourself in this EBAY scam.

Yeah I saw these on EBay a few weeks ago and figured I would call the guys bluff, so i messaged him asking him how it works, what gains are expected and a little more info on this mod, surprise, surprise, I didnt get a response.
I was kind of disappointed, I was looking forward to a good laugh, oh well.
