Which filter do you think offers better air flow. The stainless steel blitz/k&N filters or the HKS round foam filters, im also talking about the knockoff round foam filters too.

how was the performance? I got several upgrades on my ride i.e. I/H/E and it seems like my injen intake's chokin, after cleaning it with K&N... I think it needs to breath more... Do I need new filter considering it is already 2yrs old? are foam filters better than cotton filters?

i've had my injen filter for 2 years, over 80,000 miles on it. i clean it about every four months. it works just as perfect as day one. maybe you over oiled it, and it's seeping, cloging up your air way or fouling your combustion chamber.
i have a friend that uses a filter without oil. "less restrictive," he says.
i told him that it only takes a tablespoon of dirt to destroy an engine.
he might-as-well just strap a pantyhoe arround his intake pipe if he wants less restriction.........
