the fipk II is a good intake too....about producing more power, i unno...it would have to be dynoed...but they seem very similar in design where they block out alot of heat...

it aint even close to the ehxaust manifold.
plus when your movin that place that the racer design is doesnt get any hot air
its all cold

it seems that air from outside the car goes into the carbon fiber part, which i guess is covering the filter, through the upper grille..
i think air can't pass thru that cover part to the back cuz its end is sealed to the pipe..
when u go fast, so much air will go into the grille so that much of air will go into that cover part, then isnt there any problem, even minor, with this cuz of air resistance against the sealed wall of that part? i think at least it makes noisy..
how do u think about this?........

i just got mine today
ordered it june 22
i have a generic sri made for a 6th gen civic now and i have my fuse box relocated so its in a pretty good place but ill see if there is a difference when i install it

just got done installing
not quite as loud
i noticed a top end increase but i cleaned my tb when installing so i cant really tell if the intake made a difference because the tb was extremely dirty and everytime i clean it i notice a difference

what it means by "not quite as loud"??
is it kinda quite? or loud?
u noticed a top end gain..what about low end?
since i dont drive over 4k, top end doesnt really make me happy
