Re: Halo Projector

I've been looking at the same lights myself, they seem pretty solid.

Re: Halo Projector

No joke, listen to gearbox, I bought a pair myself and yeah they look cool (imo) but you cant see ANYTHING! I've seen brighter lights on the little power wheels the kids on my street roll around in....I wish I stuck with the oem lights.

Re: Halo Projector

time for hid retro? the valeo d2s projectors fit most of those aftermarket versions, alot of times you can even use the original mounting screws. if you come across a good deal, you can find a pair of projector for around $50-80, new philips d2s bulbs for $75, and oem ballast around $100 a pair. so for under $300, its like driving an audi at night

Re: Halo Projector

yeah and actually i have that exact pair if you wanna buy em from me instead and get them faster than 2 weeks international shipping. i paid 70 shipped so i want to get at least that much back. i ended up with two pairs by mistake so now i have these as extras.

Re: Halo Projector

should be easy, post pics of yours. usually these valeos fit onto the stock two bolts with little mods. im designed a slightly different setup which i will update in my thread when i get it done. basically drilling out the holes bigger and using rubber washers and nuts so the projector can be moved back and forth with a third top mount for aiming.

Re: Halo Projector

theyre cool looknin i got the spec-d halo projectors i like them bt like gearbox said they are not used to illuminate the road just for looks. im lookin to figure out to put some halos from ddm n put em in my headlights.
the only thing u hav to do when installing is straight plug n play for the head lights but the halos u have to tap into the drivin light wire n thats it
