Looks really good, except the back bumper doesn't seem as glossy, but it might just be the angle of the pic. but overall your car is coming along very nicely. Any other plans for your car, springs maybe?? BTW, about how much was your paint, labor, etc...??? Just curious to see how much to expect. But I have other plans also Can't wait until I get my plans all figured out. Laterz,
Mike

Gotta agree, some side skirts WOULD set that off nicely . . . and you need a drop like R. Kelly needs Johnny Cochran, but other than that I'm impressed.

Oh, and I'm absolutely SHOCKED that no one's ragged you about the wing. I'm not going to, cuz if it's what you want, I'm all for it, but I'm utterly dumbfounded that no one else has mentioned any jokes about shopping carts or clearing for take-off . . . hmmmm . . . perhaps the overall intelligence of the average 7th gen member is increasing after all . . .

looking nice

i'd recommend removing the wing (or at least replacing with something reasonable) and putting some mesh in the slots in the front and rear bumpers--especially the side slots...

Everything you've done is tight but I think you need skirts, lower the biyatch, and a more subtle spoiler...and think about putting some screens or mesh in the opening of the bumper.

Glad you got your car back and you're happy with everything though...sorry about the crappy experience at the car shop. Look forward to seeing the car in person at the next big AZ meet.

Everyone and his brother has been talkin crap on my wing here at work, so I'm pretty much numb to it! I like it though...thats all that matters. I think it adds something to the car, but to each his own!

Now, I know that there has to be a better place than AutoZone to get mesh...I refuse to pay $33 for some tiny piece of wire! Any suggestions?

As far as the side skirts, I do have them, but they have to be put on hold. The company that I ordered the kit from [e-bay seller] sent me the wrong skirts. Instead of waiting for them to be returned and replaced, I am working to modify them. The guy at the body shop promised me that it would look bitchin'.

As far as the drop, I have a set of Eibach SportLines sittin' right here *pats box* They are scheduled to be installed on the 15th.

Who all is going to the pavilians this weekend?

Try Home Depot for some 'mesh' and spray paint it

Looks great to me but yeah...lower it with 'race' springs

It looks good. I love the octane kit on our cars. But did you make sure that the shop used the right SSM paint. Because there are like 10+ variations of the SSM with the same paint code. Everyone knows that the code is NH-623M, but there is a letter that indicates the exact application. If you open the driver's side door and look on the car near where the door latches to the chassis, it has the paint code and a letter in one of the corners. I'm thinking that the shop you went to used an SSM shade but not the exact one. Maybe they did and the angle of the picture throws it off. Not flaming, just giving you a heads up on a possible mistake. Also, you should have them fix the fit in the back. <Look at pic>

Nice ride nonetheless...

Looks like a picture issue to me(for the paint) and a fitment problem(for rear cover)...

but yeah, my code is NH-623M-4

I would say it looks sharp and glad to hear that your hooking up side skirts soon for I would say that would make it look even better! The wing scared me but I fully believe that if you dig it, keep it! I don't think you really need to lower it because you will have a complete body kit and have already plus sized your wraps and wheels and IMO, that takes care of it. You are having fun with it, doing it your way, and that is all that really matters. I think Falken has an excellent idea about a grill insert or even try eBay for a cheap one. I have occasionally seen cheap and decent ones there. If you are worried about the paint, don't be, because our paint is SSM it becomes next to impossible to match it perfectly. Atleast, this is what I have found to be true. Our color does not have pigment and has metallic which makes it difficult to match perfectly. The lighting in which you took your pictures is flourescent and amplifies mismatched paint. I think your ride looks pretty hot and you should keep on doing what your doing!
