pretty much..i just got ****ed for $470 by this online store owner for an amp and some components i was buying off him. i managed to get his house address and his #..but he is avoiding me. since i am from canada, i can really come out and collect my cash..but since i;m a student...$700+ canadian is a lot to lose.

paypal couldnt do d**k all for me:
"Our investigation has determined that the seller is at fault, but we
were unable to recover any funds from the seller's account. As stated
in the PayPal User Agreement, Buyer Complaint funds recovery cannot
be guaranteed."

so i;m wondering if anyone out there can help me out. i'm going to try to speak with the reps at Visa once again...but if not..i wanna have a backup plan.

so if anyone out there can help me out...pls let me know.

Small claims court, call an attorney is all I can tell you that would work. Or you can look up and call the better business bureau.

i am working on that.

i talked to a detective in the fraud/forgery unit with the ft. collin's police department today. i will file a fraud complaint shortly...but i am trying to seek alternate routes than having to go to small claims court. i;ll get raped by the court fees and i wont be able to travel to CO to attend court.
