why the hell didnt everyone hang out a little longer?
my friends got there a little before me, and the 2-3 cars that were there stared at them all night because they were in a truck. not cool.
then everyone left exactly as i was pulling in. from the description that i got from my friends, AZ2K1civic(Sp?) was there, i think you are the one with the CF hood. anyway....
so i waited a little longer for someone else to show up. 1 person showed up as i was leaving.


anyway, lets try to get a better turnout next time around. i'll post a date for all of us to meet in a couple of days. this tim lets get everyone there and talk about our 7thgens!

I got there at 6 and met Falken there...we hung for a while and no one showed. The truck and car that showed up didnt say anything to us so we left after a while. The post said the meet started at 5 and nobody showed until like 7 so...Im not gonna hang out in an empty parking lot hoping people will show.

Falken and I had a good talk about our 7thgens while we were standing there

I called the meet and got there at 5pm...nobody until 6pm...And even then it was only AZ2k1Civic
We talked and got to know each other a little...

The truck that pulled up around 6:30, never once acknowledged that they were part of the meet...

I think that it is quite funny that you all think of yourselves as a "club"...You all have NO CLUE as to what it takes to be considered a club...

I dont think the meet was ever officially called off...some people said they couldnt make it but some others still planned on making it. It was a little communication break down...nothing to get pissed off about. Dont worry, be happy.

I rolled thru at 5.30. Lot was empty...so i thought maybe it started at 6. I backed into some people at arrowhead mall and didnt feel like going so i went to marerles and played some golden tee and had a beer. oh well...there is always next time. anybody have a stock silver bumper for sale [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG]

I drove thru the Hooters parking lot around 5:30 to check and see if people thought that it was over there and when I drove back, I thought that I saw a SSM coupe driving though the lot but I couldn't tell if you were someone from the board...You drove out by the mattress store and turned west on bell road, right??

Falken-I have noticed since you started posting you have come off aggressive and half-c**ked. My husband and I posted that we were not going to be able to make it for the same reason you did not catch us posting. We decided to spend that precious time with family because our working schedules were not allowing us to do so for the longest time. Please do not misunderstand Eric, he is an awesome friend, person, and is extremely dedicated to our club. You outright offended our club without even knowing the details and that is not cool. I spoke with Eric the day of the meet and explained to him why I could not make it and he and the other club members decided what my husband and I decided. We all could use precious time with our loved ones. Eric's and other club member's fault was not posting that they were not coming and I believe that he owned up to it and apologized for it. We who are in Illusive have mad passion for our cars and our club and are all very good friends. I have no hard feelings about you and I know Eric does not either. However, you do need to cool it. Understand that we are human and make mistakes and by missing one meet does not mean we do not have it together as a club, it means that we put our loved ones first for once because it was needed. As mentioned, we do have mad passion for our cars but we also have mad passion for our loved ones and that is sometimes more important than a meet. We look forward to meeting with you and until then...take good care of you and yours!

i was thinking, is there somewhere we can go to build a fire, cause my plan was, lets have our next meet somewhere where we can build a fire and have a barbeque, considering the fact that it is cold outside, somewhere warm would be great, gets cold pretty fast, but anyway, i just thought id bring it up, lets think of some parks maybe, have the meet during afternoon time where it wouldnt be soo cool, and lets throw some times, before or after holidays, im saying after but whos up for it!!

thanks for the feedback yall, but im not sure where we can go where we can build a fire to stay warm, in case we feel like stayin a littler later and were in perfect population of the surrounding area, i mean as long as theres lots of people around to see our cars, our maybe, we can just go to the pavillions, hmmm we havnet done that in a while, but i think we could save some spots and have lots of things, well lets get some dates, later

Im at 32 St and Union Hills

Eric- When I was in high school we used to go out to the desert (I-17 and Happy Valley Rd) and build fires but there are houses where we used to go. In order to build a fire I think you're gonna have to know someone that has land or head north.

Also, I dont know who runs the car show at the Pavillions but if someone could get ahold of them and check to see how you get your club or group inside the ropes that would be cool
