Exclamation Lodging in/near vegas

hey all you on the west coast. my buddy and i are planning a trip to vegas in may and we might run into a bit of trouble finding a place to crash if one of our other friends doesnt let us crash at his g/f's place (while his g/f is there...). we are trying to keep the costs kind of down, so we are hoping that we wont have to get a hotel room for a week.

but there might be 3 of us going, maybe more, and i got to thinking about possibly renting a house or cottage outside vegas or something as an alternative. is there anything like that available over there? i dont know, stuff like that is available here, but were on the coast or near mountains over here so im not sure if thats the reason.

anyway...need your guys help. anyone know of options? give me some ideas of where to crash for a week. i dont think camping is an option. we also want to be in the vegas area...nowhere too far.

thanks for your help.

hey man, thanks!

are they nice? how much? the idea of a suite sounds nice, as long as it fits 3 people.

how do i find these "appartments" that go by the week??

you could stay at budget suites, or at a station casino like sunset or boulder.. they are cheaper then staying on the strip
