Las Vegas Autocrossers!!
Its that time again, The Las Vegas Region SCCA is having another autocross! September 12th, out at the motorspeed ways Drifting Lot!!
registration opens at 7:30 AM and close it at 8:30.
First car out at 9:00. This is an all day event, and you'll get some were between 8 and 12 runs for the day...

or just show up before 8:30 and register at the event. Cost is $30 for SCCA members and 40 for non-members.. BUT! if you've never autocrossed with us before, your 1st event can be Half OFF!!!!!

Rep Power: 380 Eh, Some come, some say they are going to come.... some never come. All I can do is keep posting about it.
BTW, I was elected Solo 2 chair recently..... I run the Autocross program in Las Vegas now.

Rep Power: 380 Drag racing was never really my thing... But good Luck any way, Beat down some "Faster" Cars!
And if you get board with the straight line stuff, your more then welcom to try the turns with us!

Rep Power: 380 Having your suspension done is the last thing you want before you try autocross.... Simply because you may find that what you bought is not what you end up Wanting/needing.....
Theres also the part about learning the car and growing your skills with the car too...

6-8 runs is just warm up for us noobs, we are not even fired up then... but then again I placed 9th last race even if I really suck on cornering 
is there any parking lot or area to go in Vegas, place some cones and practice turns besides the road contructions on the street?

Rep Power: 380 Well it took me 2 years to get to where I'm at... just keep coming, and you'll get better. Seat time is the Key!
and your in luck.. out at the speedway we average 10-12 runs for the whole day... 5-6 in the morning, 5-6 in the afternoon.
