That's cool. Yah, I'd work on the cars first, before deciding on a name. Damn, so you'll all have some type of FI? Soliiid! Maybe when you guys decide to come down here (with your FI cars), I can roll with you guys with my FI car (if I ever get the SF turbo, hehe). And yes, we can cruise and look for victims

Guess what guys, I found a way to get the SF turbo *crosses fingers* Hopefully it'll follow thru. I won't go into detail though.

BUT, I need your opinion. What size rims would be good with this turbo. I was going to get 18s, but I was thinking it might be too big. So then I thought 17s would do. But I like how 18s look! Man I'm confused.

Here are my choices:

This in 17s (I wish it came with 18s though, but it only comes in 17s): Velox VX6-R

This comes in 17s or 18s: Velox VX8

Or this in 17s or 18s: Velox Pg-5s

... all in gunmetal. Or should I just stick to the 99-00 Si rims I have laying in the garage?

Ho sh*t, right on!!! Tell um I like see some pics!!! Can't wait to buy mine. Too bad I have an auto .

Yah, I was thinking of the VX8 (my first choice, btw). But the lightest ones are the Pg-5s. Oh well. Still thinking. Thanks for you input though.

That's a good idea to have a set of show rims and a set of race rims. But since, I'm low on fund$, I'll probably make my Si rims my race rims. Haha, I think they're heavy though.

I photochopped this, but it looks like 19s... Hahaha! Maybe I'll fix it to make it look more like 18s.

What do you guys think? Just pretend it's 18 inches. lol.

sup guys.sorry been busy doing the install.anyways welcome seijin_av.
i'm 22.anyway about the rim deal id go vx8 with 18" only cause thats what i have.i just think 17'' are small.they would leave less clearance from the road to the bottom of the car.
Or should I just stick to the 99-00 Si rims I have laying in the garage?
azure you willing to sell them?
oh and the turbo CIVIC808
ill get pics up soon.

Haha, I kinda figured you were busy installing the SF turbo. That's why you weren't posting as much. You lucky ba$tard! Hehe, only joke.

Yah, I agree about the 17's. They do look small on our 7th gens. It seems they've designed our 7th gens to fit bigger rims like 18's or 19's. And about the Si rims... not sure if I'm willing to sell it, but I'll let you know if I decide to.

Do you guys know if anyone here in Hawaii are qualified to do the K20 swap? Man, I'm torn between getting a turbo or doing a swap. It's mainly cuz I have an automatic. We'll see I guess.

k20 swap im sure some shops in oahu can do that.im pretty sure me and sin808 can do it too providing that we have everything we need.only trouble is getting all your stuff together.automatic works well with turbos also.i dont know if you just dont like it as an auto or cause that it wont handle the boost.

Hmm... I guess it's just that I would enjoy having more power with a manual than an auto. But I don't know if the swap is worth all that. Turbo is a lot cheaper than the swap for sure. Which is why I lean towards the turbo.

seriously the turbo is the way to go for a cheaper price and get the same horsepower as the k20. by the time you have what you need for the swap you probably would have spent near$10000.

True. And I seriously could put that extra money to better use... like a new car, hehe.

How hard do you guys think it is to change my auto into a manual? I know it'll cost a lot though. It's weird because some people say it can't be done, and others say it can. If I can get that manual swap done for $1000 (I heard it'll cost somewhere around $3000), I'd seriously consider doing it. Unless you (CIVIC808) and SiN 808 can come down here and swap it for me. . . haha! I can buy the tranny. Then pay you guys for labor. . . plate lunch! Haha!

Hehe. . . the chicks will take some time to get. Hmm. . . if the AT to MT swap is possible, I am definitely going to look into it. If I'm going to have hp over 150, I want to be able to have fun with it using an MT .
