engine swap, is it compatible?

i picked up a 92 civic si hatchback, it has a very tired 1.5l in it, but the body is mint. i have a 94 civic si coupe sittin in the yard with a 1.6 sohc vtec but the body is in rough shape. would it work to swap this into the 92? or how hard would it be. or should i even bother?

thanks,

The motor mounts are the same, oil pump is too. I have done some searching in some of the auto parts stores, as long as the cars are 92-95. The 1.6L will bolt right in the other civic. You will also have to use the Engine Computer form the 1.6L in your 1.5L but if one is auto and the other manual then you will need another PC. But if both are auto/ or manual then you should have no problems.
