Purple EJ2 swap
Purple EJ2 swap
I just got lucky and picked up a 95 Coupe Purple civic DX 5 speed in mint body condition with a blown head gasket for $300.
for now I would like to put a B series swap. I cannot remember which B series swap would be a easier or direct fit in this civic? most of my previous civics have all been OBDII . I believe this is OBDI

Any B-series will work. B20 (2.0L) more torque across the power band and available at lower rpms. B18 (1.8L) higher revs, more hp and less torque. You will need to find an obd1 ECU that runs a 1.8L
Will need an '97-01 Integra LS or GSR transmission or B-series transmission

I have a B20 in my '95 EX with an Integra LS (P75) head. You will need to find an ECU that runs a 1.8L
